The STT200 supports LAN and USB host interfaces and provides two highly reliable full-size smart card slots as well as two SAM slots (ID-000) in an elegant and compact design.

The terminal has various visible and invisible security mechanisms. A full graphical display with backlight and four separate menu buttons makes it easy to navigate and service. With suitable dimensions and weight, the STT200 is a stable desktop device, and can easily used for one-hand operations.

Typical applications
The STT200 is a generic multi-purpose terminal for smart card-based applications requiring high security like eHealth, eID or POS. The terminal was originally designed and is in wide-spread used in the German eHealth Card infrastructure, however, the firmware can easily be adapted to other applications and market needs.

One integrated LAN switch and one USB client port offer high flexibility for installation and expansion to work, i.e. with wireless LAN, biometric identification or contactless cards add-on devices.
